Maggie Leininger
www.maggieleininger.com

Join artist Maggie Leininger and team of students from Roosevelt University and the School of the Art Institute in creating an open portable studio that invites viewers to embellish the interior of a constructed portable pop-up tent made from hand felted wool. All materials will be provided to participants as they are guided in making an individualized “mark” that will express each person’s unique contribution to a larger community.

The tent will appear at various locations throughout the city.  All sessions are free and will occur on Wednesdays from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

Each session will occur on:

  • June 23rd just north of the Field Museum in Grant Park
  • June 30th at Lincoln Park (near the zoo)
  • July 7th at Humboldt Park (located between Augusta and North Ave. just west of California Ave.)
  • July 14th at Jackson Park (west of the beach area north of Hayes Dr. and Lake Shore Dr.)

Additional sites may be added, so please check back for the most up to date locations, times, and dates.
